2Mix all the dry ingredients together in a stand mixer bowl.
3Add gently beaten egg and water.
4Knead for 10-12 minutes on medium speed.
5Add refined oil. Knead for 5-6 minutes on medium speed. Add 2-3 tbsp of extra water if the dough is too stiff.
6Cover the bowl with cling film.Let the dough double in volume.
7Meanwhile, grease and dust a loaf tin.
8Punch down the dough gently. Shape it into a log.
9Place the dough into the prepared loaf tin.
10Let the dough rise.
11Preheat the oven at 180 degrees C. Place the tin into the oven. Bake for 40 minutes at 180 degrees C.
12Take the loaf out. Apply butter liberally.Let the loaf cool for 3-4 hours.
