Ingredients

For the dough

2 cups All purpose flour/ Maida

3/4 tsp Instant dry yeast

1 tbsp Sugar

1 tsp Salt

1/2 cup Lukewarm water

1 tbsp Refined oil

1 tsp Italian herbs

For the topping

6-7 Chicken sausages

8-9 Mushroom

1/2 cup Onion chopped

1 tbsp Ginger

2 tbsp Garlic

1/2 cup Tomato sauce

1/4 cup Paprika

1/4 cup Red chilli sauce

1/2 cup Chopped spring onion

Salt to taste

2 tbsp Oil

Italian spices

Directions

For the dough

1In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, salt and Italian herbs well.

2Add water.

3Knead for 6 minutes until the dough is shiny and elastic. Add 1-2 tbsp of extra water if the dough is too stiff.

4Add oil.

5Knead for another 3-4 minutes.

6Place the dough into a well oiled bowl.

7Cover it with cling film.

8Let the dough double in volume.

9Now punch down the dough gently. Knead for a minute or two.

10Cling wrap the dough and refrigerate it for 2-3 hours.

For the topping

1Heat a heavy bottom frying pan.

2Add oil. Fry ginger, garlic and onion. Add mushrooms. Let it cook for a minute or two.

3Add chicken sausages and Italian spices.

4Add 2 tbsp of tomato sauce and 1 tbsp of red chilli sauce.

5Stir well. Turn off the heat.

6Now divide the dough into equal portions. Each portion should weigh around 20gms.

7Pre heat the oven at 180 degrees C.

8Line a rectangular tin with parchment sheet.

9Roll out each portion of dough into small circles . Prick the dough with a fork or create dents.

10Transfer it to the prepared tin.

11Bake for 5-6 minutes.

12Take the dough out.

13Spread the tomato sauce evenly on the dough.

14Now spread the toppings and red chilli sauce.

15Lastly sprinkle cheese, spring onion and paprika on top. Drizzle olive oil on top.

16Bake for 8-10 minutes at 180 degrees.
