1Grease and dust a 8" aluminium baking tin. Pre heat the oven at 150 degree C for 10-15 minutes.
2Keep the lemonzest and juice ready.
3In a bowl cream butter ,lemonzest and sugar well.
4Add eggs one by one.Continue beating.
5Now add flour and milk alternately. Using a spatula gently fold the batter.
6Add lemon juice.
7Texture of the cake changes if the batter is over beaten.
8Transfer it to the cake tin.Bake at 150 degree C for 35 -40 minutes or until done.
- How to make self raising flour at home..All purpose flour-1 cup
Baking powder -1 1/2tsp
Salt -1/4 tsp
Mix all these together and sieve it atleast 5-6 times.
