Chocolate strawberry upside down cake..

Ingredients

8-9 Strawberries

1 1/2 tbsp Granulated sugar

2 tbsp Melted butter

1 cup All purpose flour/ Maida

1/4 cup Cocoa powder

1/2 tsp Soda powder

1/2 cup Demerara sugar

1/2 cup Granulated sugar

1/4 cup Butter

1/4 cup Thick curd

1 Egg

1/4 cup Lukewarm water

1/8 tsp Grape essence or tonovin essence

Directions

1Wash and clean the strawberries.Pat it dry with a towel. Slice it.

2Grease and dust a 6" round cake tin. Line the base of the tin with parchment paper. Now spread the melted butter. Sprinkle sugar evenlyand arrange the sliced strawberries. Keep it aside.

3Sift flour , cocoa and soda powder thrice.

4In a bowl mix all the dry ingredients and wet ingredients together using a spatula or electric beater.

5Beat well for 3 minutes.

6Transfer the batter to the prepared cake tin.

7Bake at 150 degree C for 40 minutes or until done.
