1Cook the sliced cherries with 1 tbsp of sugar and 1tbsp of water for 2 minutes.Add pink colour if needed.
2Pre heat the oven at 150 degree C. Sift the flour, baking powder and soda powder thrice. Grease and dust a 6 " baking tin.Powder the sugar and sift it once.Keep the banana purée ready.
3Using an electric heater beat butter and sugar well. Add lightly beaten egg. Beat well .Add vanilla essence and curd. Beat at low seed .
4Now fold in flour and banana purée ,starting and ending with flour.Add 1tbsp of water if the batter is thick.
5Now gently fold in cooked cherries.
6Gently transfer the batter to the prepared pan.
7Bake at 150 degree C for 35-40 mins or until done.
