Directions
1In a bowl mix the flour, yeast, sugar and salt well.
2Add water and knead for 6 minutes.
3Now add refined oil.
4Knead for another 3-4 minutes.
5Shape it into a ball.
6Let it double in volume.
7Meanwhile, let us prepare the masala.
8Place a small pan on low flame.
9Add oil.
10Add sliced onion. Let it caremalise a bit.
11Add rest of the ingredients.
12Stir well. Turn off the heat.
13Check if the dough has doubled. Gently punch down the dough. Add the prepared masala. Knead for 2-3 minutes.
14Divide the dough into equal parts. Each weighing around 50 gms.
15Shape each portion into a loaf.
16Take a rectangular baking tray. Grease and dust the tin.
17Transfer each portion to the prepared tin. Let it double in volume.
18Pre heat the oven at 180 degrees C.
19Place the tin into the oven.
20Bake for 20 minutes.
21Take the bread out. Let it cool well.
22Now, slice the bread neatly. Apply garlic butter on both sides of the bread. Transfer it to a rectangular baking tin. Bake for 7-8 minutes at 150 degrees C.
23Remove the croutons from the oven. Allow it to cool well.
