Red Wine Cranberry Cookies..
Ingredients
For the sauce
- 3/4 cup Dried cranberries chopped
- 1 cup Red Wine
For the dough
- 2 cup All purpose flour/Maida
- 1 cup Salted butter
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 50 g Lindt dark chocolate
Directions
In a heavy bottom saucepan,boil red wine and berries on low flame for 4-5 minutes.
Let the berries cook well . Turn off the heat.
Allow it cool. Meanwhile melt dark chocolate in microwave. Add 1/2 tbsp of oil. Stir well.
Add melted chocolate to the cooled berries.Mix well .
Sift the flour and baking powder well.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add the sifted flour and cranberries .
Kead the dough very gently.
Cling wrap the dough and refrigerate it 30 minutes.
Line a rectangular tin with parchment sheet.
Now take 1 tbsp of dough.Shape it into a ball .Flatten it lightly.
Transfer it to the prepared tin.
Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Pre heat the oven at 140 degrees C.
Bake the cookies at 140 degrees C for 18-20 minutes.
Remove the cookies from the oven and let it cool.
