EmailTweet 0 Full-screen Idli By shanobiju My Cookery Zone September 24, 2020 Ingredients2 1/2 cups Idlli rice 1 cup Urad dal2 tbsp Fenugreek seeds1/2 cup Cooked raw rice1 1/2 cups Water 1 tbsp Salt1 1/2 tsp Soda powder Directions2Soak 2 1/2 cups of rice in a bowl.3In a separate bowl, soak urad dal and fenugreek.4Soak for 8hrs.5Grind all the ingredients together except soda powder. Grind well until smooth. Add more water if the batter is too thick.6Keep the batter in a warm place. Let it fermentovernight. 7Mix soda powder in 1 tbsp of water. Add this to the batter .8Mix the batter very well until fluffy. 9Keep the idli moulds ready.10The batter should be of thick pouring consistency.
