Directions
1Mix flour, cocoa powder,soda powder well.
2In another bowl beat salted butter, castor sugar , brown sugar and orange zest until light and creamy.
3Do not over beat.
4Add the flour mixture and orange juice.
5Gently knead it .
6Break the chocolate into small pieces.
7I used Lindt orange intense .
8Add this to the dough.
9Mix well.
10Divide the dough into two parts.Take one part and place it on a wax sheet. Flatten a bit.
11Place another wax sheet on top of the dough and roll it gently.
12It should not be too thin or too thick.
13Use a cookie cutter for the desired shapes. I used a bottle cap.
14Line a tin with parchment paper and place the cookies . Refrigerate for 10 mins.
15Meanwhile pre heat the oven at 140 degree C in fan mode for 15 mins. Place the baking tin in the oven and bake for 10 -11 mins. If you want the cookies very crisp , bake for 13-14 mins.
16Take the cookies out of the oven .Let it cool in the baking tin for 5 mins. After 5 mins , transfer it to a cooling rack. Allow it to cool well.This can be stored in a airtight container.
