2Take a large bowl . Soak all the ingredients together except baking soda and yeast for 4-6 hrs.
3Add instant dry yeast and grind the above ingredients to a fine smooth batter. Add 1/2 cup water if the batter is too thick.
4Let the batter ferment for 2 hrs. Mix baking soda in 1 tbsp water and add to the batter. Make Appam and serve hot with chicken stew.
6Sundried lemon slices can be added to the Chicken Stew to enhance the flavour.
