Discard the water.4In a large mixie jar, grind all the ingredients mentioned above until smooth.5Transfer to a large container. Allow the batter to ferment for 4-5 hrs.6Now give a batter a gentle stir. Mix baking soda in 1 tbsp water. Add to the prepared batter. 7Appam batter is ready.
