Peanut butter Chocolate chip Cookies

Ingredients

2 cups All purpose flour/Maida

1 tsp Baking powder

1/4 cup Salted butter

1/2 cup Peanut butter

1/2 cup Sugar

1 Egg

8-10 Fresh Basil leaves

1/2 cup Lindt 70% chocolate

Directions

2Sift the flour and baking powder thrice.

3Cream butter and sugar.

4Add gently beaten egg.

5Add the sifted flour and finely chopped basil leaves.

6Now add 1/2 cup of chocolate broken into tiny pieces.

7Knead lightly for a minute or two.

8Divide the dough into two portions.

9Cling wrap the dough.

10Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

11Meanwhile, take a rectangular baking tin. Line it with parchment paper.

12Take 1 tsp of dough. Give the desired shape.

13Refrigerate it for 20 minutes.

14Pre heat the oven at 140 degrees C on fan mode.

15Bake the cookies for 18-20 minutes.

16Take the cookies out. Transfer to a wire rack.
